TL;DR: The swing catch, and firing mechanism on the Sturmgewehr 44 is copied by many Western designs while the AK has a history with Russian designs of automatic firearms, however every brainlet wehraboo on /k/ claims that the AK was a copy of the Sturmgewehr and wanks the AR-15
