anarchism is kinda weird kinda because I always thought Alunya was the anarchist catgirl from day one, though apparently despite getting her name from anarchist Catalonia, but from one of the OG artists who created her, apparently she's not?!?

sorry if I went completely off track to go complete internet boomer, but from what I understand leftypol, and by extent the leftist sphere online had always kinda sucked but ever since people like her and bat'ko left, the online left has never been the same, in terms of community, culture, nor its very principles.
The reasons are too numerous to explain in detail here, but needless to say, I am so thankful I was (kinda) around to see it when it was still mostly around before it was gone, and I have no doubts there are many others who have felt, and continue to feel the same.
(for context, I didn't use leftypol much beforehand anyway since I was like in highschool, and just when the comics archive was created, lol XD)

(srry, I just started gushing over fictional moe-anthropomorphized catgirls and now derailed into going full doomer about a comic that has been dead for at least half a decade and a board that has long since abandoned its roots for about the length of same time but I am really thankful that this has been a significant part of my youth growing up into my adult NEEThood)
